ENGLISH VERSION

Hello, dear hivers of Holos&Lotus. I bring to share with you the story that inspired me the propuesta sobre escritura creativa to which damarysvibra@damarysvibra invited me and to which I thank her for having remembered me for this initiative. I hope you like it.

Lluvia was cold, very cold. It was nice to be on the cloud surrounded by her companions, but they were all just like her, frozen. It was strange not to see that big blue mass down there, which they called the sea. When did they stop having it in sight? What now appeared before her had many different colors and was not moving. What could it be? She would soon find out, as they lost altitude and began to warm up. They were melting!

As gravity did its work, Rain closed her eyes and let herself fall trusting in Mother Nature. That's what she had been taught, that we each have a role and it is our responsibility not to break the chain of the cycle of life. When she finally touched the ground, Lluvia found herself clinging to other companions forming what she was told was a puddle. They were not all together, there were groups here and there.

Tiny creatures approached. Their voices were high pitched as well as powerful. Their feet were protected with something that returned her to the puddle again and again when she tried to hold on to continue her journey. The beings laughed and jumped, until a larger one scolded them and took them away.

When the atmosphere calmed down, Rain thought that this time she would not let herself evaporate so easily. For once she didn't fall into the sea, she had to take advantage and see the world, so she dived with all her might until she reached the land at the bottom of the pool.

He was at the limit of his strength and about to give up, when he found the mouth of a small tunnel. It was very, very narrow. The drops that did not falter passed through one by one, stretching like chewing gum. There was so little room that small stones stuck to the surface. After a few minutes in the darkness and narrowness, a hole opened up.

What he saw then amazed him: inside the earth there was a huge hole, where the sound echoed and where it was cool. The drops began to clump together again, and Rain went with the flow. At first they were few, but as the meters passed they formed a real army that, when they reached the surface and saw the light again, were capable of dragging small twigs.

The stream they formed kept getting bigger and bigger. Along with Lluvia and her companions, dirt, stones and branches were gaining in volume and quantity. After several days of travel, they noticed that the environment was changing. Lluvia identified salt particles that she knew from her experience at sea. The salt was getting closer and mixing with the drops as the rest of the materials were left behind.

She had been drifting with the tides for days when Lluvia felt hot again. She was so hot it was hard to breathe. Her eyes closed, and... Rain was in a cloud. She was cold, very cold. It was nice to be on the cloud surrounded by her companions, but they were all just like her, frozen....
