The eternal discussion

There is an eternal discussion about the bots and how do they affect to the game in various aspects. One of them is the amount of bots that there are and their capacity to go very high in the rankings, milking an insane amount of DEC and rewards that could be in hands of many players instead of a few and quite benefited users that own them.

Refusing to take more drastic measures

With the game so automatized is hard to avoid their massive use and moreso is the policy of the game what allows them too participate. I've always been critical with this aspect of the game but the need of accept that is actually obvious.

Accepting that

We can assume that bots will keep playing no matter what but anyways there are some measures that the Splinterlands development team could take to avoid the unfairness in the game. One is being implemented with capchas in private tournaments.

Amount of bots in the top 100

I count 25 bots in the top100 and maybe could be some more at the end of the season. A 25% seems to much to me.

They have at minimum 800 matches played while the humans play, more or less 600 at maximum so I think is quite fair to say that these accounts are bots. There are cases with 2500 matches, so they're all the day playing and therefore annoying another players.

A simple proposal.

Please if anyone of the SM team reads this, have in mind the frustration that this pool ravaging can make to other users, that are so important as the ones which have bots in their service, I propose a simple measure, once you play lets say 800 matches, a cooldown of x days/hours. Its up to you to make this game more fair.

I would like to read your opinions about this issue. Thank you for your patience and consideration for reading this.

Cheers to all!, we see in battle!.
