I was listening to a social media influencer from Web 2, whose specialty is real estate. He said that sellers typically dress very well, with state-of-the-art suits, expensive watches, and cars that are sometimes unaffordable. On the contrary, the people who carry out the construction—architects, foremen, electricians, and others—don't look like the former. According to the influencer, if you turn the former over, they can't spare a penny and are in debt to maintain such luxury. The latter, on the other hand, have too much money. Reflecting on this issue, and considering something that happened to me this week, I want to share my thoughts.

Hablaba que normalmente los vendedores visten muy bien, trajes de última generación, relojes caros y autos que a veces son inalcanzables. Contrariamente, las personas que realizan las obras, arquitectos, maestro mayor de obra, electricistas y demás, no lucen como los anteriores. Según el influencer, si a los primeros les das vuelta, no se le cae una moneda y están endeudados para mantener dicho lujo. En cambio, los últimos, tienen dinero en demasía. Reflexionando sobre esta cuestión, y con algo que me aconteció esta semana, quiero compartirles mis pareceres.

      In our homes, we tend to worry about what we see. Painted walls, tidy furniture, pretty decorations, and, very importantly, a flawless facade. Someone walks by our houses and will say, "How well this family is doing! Their prosperity is evident."

The same thing happens with our health. Sometimes we see ourselves slim, young, beautiful, full of energy, absolutely vital, and even more so if you follow us on social media. Wow! How happy we are! 🤔

I could go on, for example, in the world of work and business. Many organizational systems appear impeccable, with modern structures, impressive logos, and motivational speeches that sound like progress.

I could go on about institutional systems and governments, but the idea is not to get too bogged down.

• This hose, which accompanies the images I'm sharing, is what connects the water system to the faucet, and on the outside it looked shiny, in good condition, even pristine. But I was so surprised when, after searching everywhere, I discovered it was clogged. My family has been telling me for a long time that water wasn't flowing properly from that faucet, and since we're children of rigor, we always leave everything to the last minute. Until the problem presses us too much, we don't tackle it. Does that happen to you?

• It took me only an hour to solve the problem. Something I'd been dragging on for a while. Incredible! Taking immediate action is invaluable.

• And these things make me reflect on systems, and in our case, we could also apply them to our ecosystem. I think sometimes there are invisible points, which are there, and only the most careful eye can detect them. Perhaps these obstructions are what sometimes hinder the growth of our ecosystem. On the outside, we can count all the benefits we can potentially have and offer, but the internal engineering of the ecosystem sometimes—and this is a personal opinion—I think there are bottlenecks that are clogged, plugged, rusted. If you ask me, "What are they?" How can we solve them? I really don't know. I only reflect, to add and try to offer alternative reflections for our growth.

! [Spanish] En nuestras casas solemos preocuparnos por lo que se ve. Paredes pintadas, muebles ordenados, decorativos bonitos y algo muy importante, que la fachada sea impecable. Alguien pasa por el frente de nuestras casas y dirán, qué bien que le va a esta familia. Su prosperidad es evidente.

También ocurre con nuestra salud. En ocasiones nos vemos esbeltos, jóvenes, bellos, con mucha energía, vitalidad absoluta y más aún, si nos seguís en las redes sociales de la web 2. ¡Waw! Qué felices que somos 🤔.

Puedo seguir, por ejemplo, en el mundo del trabajo y las empresas. Muchos sistemas organizacionales parecen impecables, estructuras modernas, logotipos impresionantes y discursos motivacionales que suenan a progreso.

Podría seguir con sistemas institucionales y gobiernos, pero la idea es no embarrarme tanto.

• Este chicote que acompaña las imágenes que comparto, es lo que conecta el sistema de agua con la canilla y exteriormente se veía brillante, en buen estado, diría hasta impecable. Pero tal sorpresa me llevé, al descubrir, indagando por doquier, que estaba obstruido. Desde hace tiempo que mi familia me decía que no salía agua contundente desde esa canilla y como somos hijos del rigor, siempre dejamos todo para lo último. Hasta que el problema no nos presiona en demasía, no lo atacamos. ¿Te pasa?

• Me llevó resolver el problema tan solo una hora. Algo que venía arrastrando desde hace tiempo. ¡Increíble! Tomar acción de manera inmediata tiene un valor incalculable.

• Y estos chicotes me hacen reflexionar sobre los sistemas y en nuestro caso podríamos llevarlo también a nuestro ecosistema. Pienso que en ocasiones existen puntos invisibles, que están ahí, y solos ojos sigilosos pueden detectarlo. Quizás esas obstrucciones es lo que frenan en ocasiones el crecimiento de nuestro ecosistema. Por fuera podemos contar todas las bondades que potencialmente podemos tener y brindar, pero la ingeniería interior del ecosistema en ocasiones y esto es una opinión particular, pienso que existen cuellos de botellas obstruidos, tapados, oxidados. Si me preguntas ¿Cuáles son? ¿Cómo resolverlo? Realmente no lo sé. Solo reflexiono, para sumar e intentar, brindar alternativas de reflexiones para nuestro crecimiento.

      Not all that glitters is gold, the popular saying goes, and just like buildings, real estate agents, houses with beautiful facades, slender bodies, and so on, we have to be vigilant and investigate the internal engineering.

Finally, I also feel the same thing happens in communities. I believe that by always acting in the same way, we will find the same results. Perhaps as part of communities, we could add alternatives to alleviate their stagnation. I believe we are a chain and that we are all vitally important, and that is what I am passionate about about Web 3.

Por último, en las comunidades también siento que ocurre lo mismo. Creo que accionando siempre de la misma manera, encontraremos iguales resultados. Quizás como parte de las comunidades, podríamos sumar alternativas, de manera de aliviar el estancamiento de las mismas. Creo que somos una cadena y que todos somos de vital importancia y eso es lo que me apasiona de la web 3.
