I infiltrated a heavily guarded area to eliminate Al Rukh. Using throwing knives, chain assassinations, and focus abilities, I cleared out the guards without raising alarms, in full stealth. After unlocking the main door, I assassinated Al Rukh and found a critical note before slipping away completely undetected.
I took another guard down with a throwing knife. Nobody detected my presence, so I did not bother to hide the body. I moved quietly through the area, searching for my next opportunity to strike.
Up ahead stood a heavy guard. I positioned myself directly above him and eliminated him with a swift jump assassination.
Once I landed, I noticed two more guards standing close by. Before they could react, I took them both down using chain assassinations.
I continued to navigate through the complex, keeping a close eye on the surroundings. I spotted a problematic guard whose patrol route would have ruined my plan for the remaining enemies. I took care of him quietly before moving toward the next two guards.
Then I approached the other two from behind and eliminated both of them in quick succession with another set of chain assassinations.
With that side of the area completely cleared out, I made my way toward the opposite section. I circled back toward the guards I had left behind earlier. This time, I used my focus abilities to execute rapid strikes, taking them down instantly without facing any issues.
Directly ahead was the locked door that would lead me straight to Al Rukh. However, I knew there were still a few more guards patrolling nearby, and I needed to deal with them before moving forward.
I chose not to engage the guards standing at the main gate right away, but I was not about to let the ones inside the perimeter survive either.
As I moved closer, I made a small mistake. I originally thought there were only two guards in the area, but a third one suddenly appeared. Despite the unexpected encounter, I handled the situation quickly by throwing a knife to take down the third guard before any alarm could be raised.
It was finally time to make my way toward the locked door and face Al Rukh. I pulled out the key I had secured earlier and unlocked the door without making a sound. As the door swung open, I saw Al Rukh standing inside, guarded by two bodyguards who were completely unaware of my arrival.
I launched forward instantly, executing a swift focus attack that took out all three of them in a single fluid motion. I thought I'd need more focus to take down Al Rukh, but I didn't.
After eliminating Al Rook, I searched the room and found a note on his body. The note revealed that Al Mardikhwar had questions regarding our friend's past and had ordered a meeting at the Great Garrison.
I had my target down and secured a vital clue regarding their leader. One target was down, and now I needed to focus on dealing with Al A'eshma next.
I slipped out of the perimeter without letting the guards at the entrance realize what had happened inside. I almost felt bad for them, as they would likely lose their jobs or their heads once their superiors discovered the silent carnage left within the walls.
Until next time, happy gaming.
