I was watching Morning Joe on MSNBC this morning and one of their "political analysts" said we need to be "managing people down". Talk about low expectations. How negative can somebody view the world?
"Lift people up", "Equal Opportunity", and "Helping people succeed" are so much more uplifting and positive goals that I can jump on board with.
Maybe that is the problem with the political elites today - they believe the "average joe" (a.k.a. "deplorable") has it too good and they need to be "managed down" into a lessor quality of life.
We want a rising tide that raises all boats - not a see saw where one person sinks as the other rises.
