Hi moms and dads of hive! How did you dispose your baby's placenta?
Over here, in Nigeria, placenta is buried safely in the soil where no one can see it. As a matter of fact, nobody must see you burry the placenta.
In case you're not not yet a mom or dad and you're wondering what a placenta is, it is simple the organ that nourishes the growing baby in the womb. It as well takes the baby's waste away. When a baby is born, the mom has to born the placenta too before we can safely say the delivery process is over. It normally follows a few minutes after the baby and it has to be born whole. I mean, no part of it must remain in the woman's body else it can rotten there and cause health complications.
I remember when I put to bed, as weak as I was, I was so worried that evening about how they will dispose the placenta because of the not so good stories we hear about the placenta being used for occultist activities. I think they made it a rule at the hospital to always hand it to the father for disposal. Yeah, so my husband was given my baby's placenta to dispose.
He said he didn't know exactly how to dispose it at initial stage. He was as confused as first time dad should be and so he had to call for help. He called his own father for some advice. In summary, he drove far way to someplace away from prying eyes to burry it under the soil safely.
