After a stunning break in Banff, the great odyssey continued across the rockies as Blondie and I rolled into Jasper. Jasper was once a supply town for the rockies and it has a much more down to earth vibe than glitzy Banff.
We were delighted that we stayed at the same cabin lodge park as Marilyn Monroe back in her day when she filmed a movie here called River of No Return. Evidently she was thrown out of the more fancy place in town for wearing inappropriate clothes to dinner !
