Yesterday, I learnt that for some time it has been possible to acquire personal ethereum domain names, or adresses, which allows you to get a custom payment adress on the format "adress.eth". It's kind of like a vanity bitcoin address, but without the excessive random hash which makes it hard to remember. Anyways, this post is not actually about ethereum adresses. It's about a small issue I found with myetherwallet.com. I had planned to bid on a personal ethereum address using myetherwallet.com and once I had entered the site, I was presented with many warnings about certain details I had to check to confirm that I was not on a phishing site. Having used myetherwallet many times before, I'm quite used to this, but as I take safety seriously I read through all the warnings carefully. One of the warnings told me to make sure that the URL bar included "MYETHERWALLET LLC [US]" written in green text. Guess what! The "MYETHERWALLET LLC [US]" was not in the adress bar!

I have always made sure that it has been there before, but now it's gone. This makes me hesitant about using their service. Has anyone else experienced this? I sent them an email, but I have not yet received an answer.

Edit: I received an answer from MyEtherWallet. They confirmed that it was the correct site, even though it didn't say "MYETHERWALLET LLC [US]" in the url bar. Now it appears to be fixed, so I think the adress bar should contain "MYETHERWALLET LLC [US]" now.
