Hello Hive, my greetings to you. They haven't been the best of days, but we have our health — that is already one of the many things I am grateful for. I've had time to go out for walks and clear my mind, and to stop watching the news because my head is about to explode.
I think about it and I cry about it, every moment of the day. It's not easy, but we must recognize that overthinking is the most useless thing we can do. To be honest, it undermines our mental health at a very serious level, which is why I have had to go out for fresh air.
I have reestablished communication with my loved ones who are in affected populations, and thank God they are safe. They are mobilizing and providing internal aid in towns that are difficult to reach by road. Communication between towns and hamlets or villages is precarious. According to a personal friend of mine, aid and supplies reach the central towns but do not go beyond to where he and his family are.
I write these lines as a way to vent my ideas and intrusive thoughts. And in some way, to be calmer after having put into writing things I want to say and don't know how to express. However, from my place, I keep my composure because my parents are elderly people and they need all my support in this delicate and unfortunate situation.
To keep my mind occupied, I work tirelessly every day. I give the best of my service, doing my best to attend to those who come to my establishment. Together with my guys, we try to make the diner disconnect a little from what is happening and serve them as they deserve.
I am deeply grateful to my excellent friend

Hola Hive, mis saludos para ti. No han sido de los mejores días pero tenemos salud, ya es una de las muchas cosas por las cuales estoy agradecido. He tenido tiempo para salir a caminar y despejar la mente, y para no ver noticias ya que la cabeza me va a estallar.
Lo pienso y lo lloro, cada momento del día. No es sencillo, pero hay que reconocer que sobre pensar es lo más inútil que podemos hacer. Para ser honesto, socaba nuestra salud mental a un nivel gravísimo, por lo que he tenido que ir a tomar aire fresco.
He retomado comunicación con mis seres queridos que se encuentran en poblaciones afectadas, y gracias a Dios se encuentran a salvo. Se están movilizando y prestando ayuda interna en pueblos de difícil acceso por carretera. La comunicación entre pueblos y caseríos o aldeas es precaria. Según me cuenta un amigo personal, las ayudas y suministros llegan hasta los pueblos céntricos pero no pasan de ahí hasta donde se encuentra él y sus familiares.
Escribo estas líneas como una manera para desahogar mis ideas y pensamientos intrusivos. Y de alguna manera poder estar más calmado al haber plasmado cosas que quiero decir y no hallo cómo. Sin embargo, desde mi lugar mantengo la compostura ya que mis padres son personas mayores y necesitan de todo mi apoyo en esta situación tan delicada y lamentable.
Para mantener la mente ocupada trabajo incansablemente a diario. Doy lo mejor de mi servicio, procurando atender de la mejor manera a quienes se acercan a mi establecimiento. Junto con mis muchachos buscamos hacer que el comensal se desconecte un poco de lo que está pasando y atenderlo como se merece.

Agradezco encarecidamente una vez más a todos los que a día de hoy con su granito de arena hacen una gran diferencia por Venezuela. Verdaderamente y de corazón, Venezuela volverá a levantarse gracias a su gente — gracias a ustedes. Nos leeremos pronto, estén atentos a futuras publicaciones.
