It is a homogenization of our minds, making us simple, by trapping us under complication, so we never have to face the complexity.

Seems to me this is the purpose of laws, to make complex problems seem merely complicated, and so more easily solvable. But law, as we have seen, does not take into account all the aspects of an action, the complexities, and often results in injustice. Law is intended to function as an algorithm, but all hell can break loose.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall for a conversation you have with friends. You often delve into the complex.

And I'll stop calling the end of my marriage "complicated."
