Dough is something I feel very close to, I love watching yeasted things rise.
I could calm an irate employee (sometimes just threaten to fire them if they didn't shape up) but overly irate customers I have no patience for. I was likely to say "Pay your check and leave please," One guy sent his lamb chops back two times because they weren't hot enough, but that second time we had heated the plate, had the server stand there holding the plate while we took the chops off the grill and take them out immediately. The customer touched them and sent them back. I asked him to get out and never return. Only people who have never worked in a restaurant act that way. Once I was out at a chinese restaurant on a first date, and the guy counted the ingredients in a "25 ingredient" dish. Sent it back because he could only count 24. That was the last time I went out with him.
