I do not know which I would choose. I had a tumultuous life until recently, and I like the calm knowing. I don't think I would choose to go back to tumultuous; I could go for a little utopia for the next twenty years or more. I'd have to know more about the community, is everyone the same?

This is the life I see most "successful" young adults head toward (difficult to leave once you're in): portfolios that save their money exclusively in USD measured assets for decades before they can use it, significant debt for a roof over their heads, expensive medical insurance that will pay for regular unecessary "well-care" visits to a slew of doctors, social contract with others that they get together mostly to drink, and not much else... It's bleak, very bleak. Their choice has been made for them and rammed down their throats as a standard to measure themselves by. Perhaps I over state. For sure, I ramble.

Their lives are so very much the same. Is this success? By largely accepted standards of the day, yes. It's slavery to a vision, really strange.

Kind of comes down to which vision do we choose to be a slave to?
