9/11
Have you heard or watched the historic 9/11 documentary? Almost everyone from the United States should be familiar with that horrific tragedy that occurred in the trade centre, New York city. I intended to write these post on the 11th of this month as we all remember the victims that lost their lives in the tragedy that occurred 25 years ago.

I know many people like myself from other countries don't know about that history until recently, when I decided to go deeper and research about the usual 9/11 I used to hear people from the US talk about. I've been following allot of news and trends from the US lately, specially about their politics and many more. That was how I got to hear about the event that happened on the 11th of September. It was a terrible day for the entire people of the US. it was a day that reminded the people that their enemy isn't their brothers and sisters from different race nor people they don't agree with on political grounds.
Sometimes the enemy comes from within but most times the enemy is far away from you, someone that thinks you don't have the right to do better than them or live in peace and harmony with your fellow brothers and sisters in the same country, state or District.
It was a fateful day for the American citizens in the New York city. Everyone was about their days peacefully as usual. Family members waved good bye to each other with the hope of coming back to share in love and laughter of how their day went, the only expectations in their hearts was how to make it back home and reunite with themselves but the enemy was preparing very well for evil. The documentaries showed how these terrorists made it into different planes in the airports at almost the same time. It was a well orchestrated mission to ruin the lives of people and properties.
Four planes where hijacked by these terrorists who were identified to be the enemies of America. They are religious extremist sent on a mission by their leaders from another country entirely. It was discovered that their leader, although a notorious terrorist, they never expected he'd plan such a dangerous and barbaric mission on the innocent American citizens. The terrorist onboard the plane are quite good pilots too because the four planes heading to different locations at the same time was hijacked and all was simultaneously moving towards the trade centre in New York.
At these moments radars couldn't dictate this ones, there was no sign, no alert, just the buzzing engines of a plane coming face to face at low levels and crashed into the longest building with so many people inside. At first Americans were unsure about what happened, many thought it was an accident until the second plane came crashing into the second long building. These were not just ordinary planes crashing, they were carrying explosives that blast everywhere on impact. These was when the department of security realized that America was under attack. Every one came to alert and information was spreading round radio stations and some websites that existed as at 2001 when this tragedy happened.
There was no social media to trend the news faster but radio stations tried to cover the story with many of their outstanding presenters broadcasting the news. Families glued to their TVs and watching what was happening, some made to the scene where the whole thing occurred to see for themselves. The fire fighters where massively on ground to help but the situation was just about to get worser.
The president of the country was about his normal day before the news got to him about the attack on his citizens. The President as at 2001, President George W. Bush was with kids in a visitation in a school when the news was got to his ears.
I love the president's composure while with the kids. One of the presidents security told him the news of the attack but he didn't panic and frighten the kids. I saw the video how he calmly interacted with the kids before finding a means to live the spot. Nobody knew where could be attacked next and president was a potential target since he's the number one man of the state. His security mobilised the Airforce 1 jet that took off very fast leaving the ground. According to documentations of the story, the plane lift at an usual manner because they needed to be in the air where they thought was the safest place for the president to be.
Not long enough the third plane crashed at the pentagon leaving many killed and majority injured. The tension was getting up higher. All attention was where the next plane is gonna hit.
The fourth plane hit a plane field at Pennsylvania. It was recorded that the passengers onboard the plane fought the hijacker and the plane crashed into the fields. Many lives were lost in this tragedy event that happened in 2001. Thousands of people never made it back home after leaving home for various duties. Sadly only few people from the trade centre made it out alive because the whole building collapsed and killed most of the fighters and other people beneath the burning building that where trying to help get people out of the incident.
My Take-------
It's quite unfortunate that something like this happened before modalities are set on ground to combat future occurrences of something like this. I wish we can learn many of these things without having to experience them first. It's quite unfortunate how terrible the hearts of humans can be because what on earth is worth the thousands of lives of innocent people that were killed? May God continue to comfort these families and give them fortitude to bare the lost.
