Oh that's good that you don't have it. I know of doctors who initially compared covid to the flu in its infancy, and retracted it when they saw how much more severe it was. These days, since almost everyone has had a vaccine shot, it is no longer as deadly.
The lockdowns didn't work.
I don't know how bad/easy the pandemic was in your place, but in a lot of countries it was terrible. Hospitals were too full and patients were in the hallway. Medical workers were working almost 24 hours, and are living in the hospital. They were also scared of going home and infecting their family. A lot of people died. The lockdowns definitely worked in keeping people from affecting others and trying to lower the patients admitted to hospitals.
