Reunion is something that when you hear, you will always want to go because you get to meet old time friends who for one reason or the other you haven't come across for years. It's something you will always feel happy whenever you hear such news and once it has been made public for all to hear, preparations would be made such as contributions and lots more because you wouldn't want to go there and not see anything to eat or drink.

The first ever reunion I had with some of my classmates was kind of fun because it was the first time I experienced something like that, although it was just a day reunion, but many people still didn't show up because of the distance and all.

After graduation from high school, I went to stay with my aunt at Ogun state, Nigeria. Most of my classmates travelled to other states while some still remained in Lagos. Before we left because we never had the idea that we would have a reunion since we were still small, we didn't create a WhatsApp group but some had each others numbers. I was still communicating with some of my friends for over a year before someone came up with the idea of reunion. She created a WhatsApp group chat and added the numbers she had and she told those people she added to also check if they have another person's number and that was how I was added to the group chat. I was very happy when I saw that a group chat was created for my own set and some of my classmates whom I haven't spoken to for a very long time were happy to hear each others voices.

Although some of my classes weren't on the group chat because we lost their contacts but we had to work with the ones available hoping that sooner or later we would get the numbers back. We started discussing on how the reunion would be and the suitable place for the reunion. We concluded to have the reunion December because it will be convenient for us since some of us were working and some had already travelled and we also contributed for feeding and all. We later got to know that few travelled out to further their education.

On the day of the reunion, we had already made things available and we were to meet at a hotel in Lagos. Since I was staying at Ogun state, I had to leave the house early to beat traffic. When I got to the venue, I was so happy seeing my friends after a very long time, although not all attended the reunion even after the preparation and the plans but the few that came that day were quite fun for me.

We exchanged greetings and we discussed within ourselves what was happening to us. Those that were in the university told us about their life and what they were experiencing in school while those that were yet to get admitted into the university had to learn from others. It was fun hearing from others and their experience since we left school.

We ordered for food and drinks, of course the contributions for that had already been made before the reunion day. We ate and drank while we were still having our discussions, it was fun seeing that everyone were doing well for themselves, we had to encourage those that haven't gotten admitted to be patient and still put more effort towards their next exams.

This was the part I loved most in the hangout, it was then time to swim at the swimming pool, we rented swimming trunks and those that were not afraid of water entered the swimming pool. Although I don't know how to swim but I still entered and I stayed close by so I won't find it difficult to leave. We had fun and we took pictures but that was a long time ago when I was still making use of my android phone before I misplaced it and I couldn't recover the pictures again.

I'm sure you guys will be happy to hear this good news 馃槍馃槍, we're actually planning for another reunion but this time, it will be massive 馃拑馃拑. We're yet to fix a date for the next reunion and I'm sure those from far and near places will come馃コ馃コ
