Russia 2018 World Cup Year.jpg

1460 days are too many, in this period you already formed a family or finished your career, you achieved what you wanted so much, your son took his first steps. It's a long time, the same time we have to wait to see a World Cup, I don't know about you, but every start to the World Cup, I'm excited.

Thirty-two teams will be on the pitch from 14 June in search of the cup that Germany have held in their hands since 2014. It will be until 15 July that the new (or not) champions will be known, 64 games later, and will be crowned on a new stage on the World Cup map.

Russia, Vladimir Putin's Russia, will host the World Cup for the first time, spread over twelve stadiums in eleven cities. The Luzhniki of Moscow will raise and lower the curtain on a competition that will visit such distant locations as St. Petersburg, Sochi, Ekaterinburg or Kaliningrad, that geographical and historical extravagance that borders Lithuania and Poland but not Russia.

The usual favourites - Germany, Brazil, Argentina - will be again. Spain, England, France, Portugal and Spain feel entitled to be in the same group. Panama and Iceland open for business. Peru, Morocco, Poland, Egypt and Senegal return. They'll all try to keep the noisy absences to themselves. Italy, the only world champions to miss the party; Chile, winners of the last two American Cups; the United States, now almost a classic; the Netherlands, who were not at the last European Championship either: the World Cup congregation has lost some of its most illustrious supporters this time.

My favourites to win this World Cup are Germany, Argentina, Brazil and France.

Leave below in the comments, what do you think would be the country that would win this World Cup in Russia?
