TBT Remembering My Birthday
Hello friends, today is Thursday of remembrances and just a day away from my new birthday I bring you this anecdote, in my celebration of the year 2020. As is customary in the family, when Saturday falls we usually prepare a special meal for the birthday boy or girl. That day I got up very early and went to a shopping mall to buy a cell phone. I wanted to give myself that gift, because my cell phone had been damaged a few days before.

TBT Recordando Mi Cumpleaños Hola amigos, hoy es jueves de remembranzas y justamente a un día de mi nuevo cumpleaños les traigo esta anécdota, en mi celebración del año 2020. Como es costumbre en la familia, cuando cae el sábado se suele preparar una comida especial para el cumpleañero. Ese día me levanté muy temprano y me fui a un centro comercial a comprarme un celular. Quería darme ese regalo, porque mi celular se me había dañado unos días antes.
Well, I spent the whole day looking for my cell phone, but the model was already sold out, and the budget was not enough to buy another one, so after visiting several centers, I decided to go home, quite disappointed. I arrived at my mother's house and lunch was already prepared. I remember a delicious rice with chicken that was exquisite. She prepared it with noodles that she toasted before adding them to the rice and other ingredients. That day was memorable for me, because not having a cell phone I didn't capture those moments. But good TBT are not forgotten, especially if they are sealed by the family.
Bueno, estuve todo el día buscando mi celular, pero el modelo ya estaba agotado, y el presupuesto no me alcanzaba para comprar otro, por lo que después de tanto recorrer varios centros, opté por irme a casa, bastante decepcionado. Llegué a casa de mi madre y ya tenían preparado el almuerzo. Recuerdo un arroz con pollo bien rico que le quedaba exquisito. Ella lo preparaba con fideos que tostaba antes de unirlos con el arroz y los otros ingredientes. Ese día fue memorable para mí, porque no tener celular no capte esos instantes. Pero los buenos TBT no se olvidan, más si son sellados por la familia.
I remember that after finishing lunch, my wife, my sister and a niece went up to the house. I live one floor up, and I stayed there talking to my mother for a while, telling her about the trip I had made to look for my longed-for cell phone. While I was talking, I fell asleep on the couch. It was a habit that every time I ate alone I sat on the furniture and fell asleep.
Recuerdo que luego de terminar de almorzar, mi esposa, mi hermana y una sobrina se subieron a la casa. Yo vivo un piso más arriba, me quedé hablando un rato con mama, contándole la travesía que hice para buscar mi ansiado celular. Mientras que conversaba, me quedé dormido en el sofá. Era una costumbre que cada vez que comía solo me sentaba en el mueble y caía rendido.
When I woke up I was alone, my mother was no longer in the apartment, and I decided to go home, when I arrived they had prepared a surprise for me, a very modest cake, once we sang the birthday, they surprised me, they had two cell phones, I no longer cared about the model, I cared about the gesture and the love they had for me, it is not easy to forget those moments, my mother and my sister, my wife, my niece and my son who was incognito, thank you for such beautiful moments.
