Visiting La Victoria Square

Back, friends of the Actifit community, this Tuesday I started it a little hectic, wanting to leave early, but I had some setbacks at home, after solving some problems. I went to visit a square that was inaugurated a month ago, in Caracas, specifically in Plaza Venezuela. When a new square is inaugurated, I always want to know what is the history that is unveiled through its creation, taking into account the close relationship that links it to another country.

Visitando La Plaza De La Victoria

De vuelta, amigos de la comunidad de Actifit, este martes lo inicié un poco agitado, queriendo salir temprano, pero tuve unos contratiempos en casa, luego de resolver algunas problemáticas. Me dirigí a conocer una plaza que fue inaugurada hace un mes, en Caracas, específicamente en Plaza Venezuela. Cuando se inaugura una nueva plaza, siempre quiero saber cuál es la historia que se devela a través de su creación, tomando en cuenta la estrecha relación que la une a otro país.

And the important reason is the diplomatic alliance that our country has with all the countries of the world, especially with the people of Russia, who a month ago celebrated 80 years of Victory Day, where in a brutal war, Russia achieved the surrender of the German army, putting an end to the war. And that is why Venezuela, in a symbolic gesture, wanted to commemorate the triumph of the 80 years with the creation of a square, to pay tribute to those fighters who fought for the liberation of their country, as a gesture to further strengthen the ties that unite them.

Y la razón importante es la alianza diplomática que tiene nuestro país con todos los países del mundo, especialmente con el pueblo de Rusia, quien hace un mes celebró 80 años del Día de la Victoria, donde en una guerra brutal, Rusia consiguió la rendición del ejército alemán, poniendo fin a la guerra. Y es por ello que Venezuela, en un gesto simbólico, quiso conmemorar el triunfo de los 80 años con la creación de una plaza, para rendir homenaje a esos combatientes que lucharon por la liberación de su país, como un gesto de estrechar más los lazos que los une.

The construction of the Victory of the Great Patriotic War square is located in Caracas, very close to the fountain of Plaza Venezuela. In its center stand three figures of soldiers, one of them raising the flag of the Soviet Union. It is a striking monument and impressive work; they are mounted on stones or granite blocks that symbolize the ruins left by the battle.

La construcción de la plaza de la Victoria de la Gran Guerra Patria, está ubicada en Caracas, muy cerca de la fuente de Plaza Venezuela. En su centro se levantan tres figuras de soldados, una de ellos izando la bandera de la Unión Soviética. Es un llamativo monumento e impresionante trabajo; están montados sobre piedras o bloques de granito que simbolizan las ruinas dejadas por la batalla.

In addition, from here we can see many emblematic buildings that surround the streets and avenues, beautifying the place much more, So I finish my activity back home.

Además, desde aquí podemos ver muchos edificios emblemáticos que rodean las calles y avenidas, embelleciendo mucho más el lugar, Así termino mi actividad de regreso a casa.
