Today's article will be focused on this subject and how it might affect the entirety of Finance as we know.
Finance can be traced back to hundreds of years having various ways humanity has been able to make their money work for them without putting in the effort.
With each invention also comes newer ways to implement and improve on finance and since the creation of blockchain and the use of smart contracts, developers have been able to take a huge step from the traditional ways of finance, individuals no longer have to depend on 3rd parties confirmation and constant visitation of various offices in other to invest and get returns.
Smart contracts brought about the implementation of finance in a decentralized manner which we all known as DeFi. With this, developers were able to built various types of DApps capable of accumulating and providing returns paired to different APYs according to set down rules and while many tag this as all too technical, various teams projects continue to find ways to allow individuals relate with these DApps in a traditional setting but does not involve the constant visitation of offices.
PlatON alongside various established companies will be hosting a 2 week Hackathon that centers on DeFi, from insurance to lending of assets and thus creating a system that allows everyone to earn in an autonomous setting without putting in much physical effort.
The Hackathon is titled Money Legos Hackathon and will be anchored on Gitcoin, a platform where you get paid to work on open source software in Python, Rust, Ruby, JavaScript, Solidity, HTML, CSS, Design, and more.
Over the duration of the Hackathon, sponsors will set up various task alongside other events in which individuals can participate in by simply selecting a task that fits their skill set and upon completion they simply have to submit their workings and get the various rewards attached to the picked task.
The Hackathon is bound to be eventful and also interesting as various mediums that allows one to generate income during their absent will be finalized and also possible newer options might also comes up which brings newer ideas like nothing we have ever seen.
Hackathons are medium where developers and like-minded individuals gets to relate in an equal field and also create an avenue to share ideas and get answers to possible problems one might have. Alone there is so much we can achieve but together it becomes limitless.
