Jester Rope-A-Dope • Battle Test

Yesterday, I had my first experience on the Steem Monsters Battle Site. I felt very spoiled though because we are able to use a fully maxed out deck with all Alpha and Beta cards at our disposal. The Test Site is currently only open to Steem Monsters Mavericks (those who have purchased 500 packs or more).

Battling for everyone opens up on October 14... so one week from Sunday! You will be able to run test fights and ranked fights right away so don't worry about not being ready... you will have time to acclimate.

I have to warn you that the graphics are amazing and the ease of use is such that I can see this game becoming very addictive.

Black versus White

A funny thing happened in a battle I had with @nateaguila yesterday. I entered the white team and @nateaguila was fighting with the black team. Things were going my way until the Twisted Jester start doing his thing! It was like Ali & Frazier all over again and the Jester was doing the Ali rope-a-dope. Jester was the last card standing and my Clay Golem started globbering him but each time he went in for the kill it was a miss. I thought to myself is he trying for a draw? Finally, after 11 or 12 attempts, Clay landed a blow and round 6 turned into round 17. It only took one more blow to send Jester off into the abyss with a puff of black smoke. See the playback highlight below.
