Half Container • Half Art

I photographed this bizarre construction container on the street today. Its normally used to secure equipment and tools at the construction site. The artwork looks very surreal to me. I can see two profiles wearing hats and something like a house falling on somebody with an arm reaching out or in a window. The first profile in the baseball cap has a pyramid in place of his eye and some lines that hint at the all-seeing-eye while the second profile is in a police hat and appears to be blindfolded. Its also interesting how the orange safety barriers which surround the site blend so well with the colors in the mural. Was it planned to be this way?

Not sure whether the date is referring to an event in 2012 or if its just the year that the painting was created. It does seem a bit too prominent to be just the creation date.

Any Thoughts On This?

I photographed the street art with my iPhone 6S Plus.
