Flatiron • Monomad

Looking down Fifth Avenue at the iconic Flatiron building, I was thinking about the interesting shape and realized that the architect doesn't deserve the full credit for the design. The acute triangular shape is really dictated by Broadway crossing Fifth avenue and creating the acute angle on the block just South of the intersection.

I photographed the Flatiron with my Canon 5D camera and 70-200 mm lens.
