Dear@hiveopenmic community I want to give you a big greeting and a total thank you for the support I have received, I am really glad to have found an ideal place to share the music I like to play. Also, I must say that I really enjoy the talent of other amazing musicians in the contest.
Today I bring you my interpretation of a traditional Venezuelan song called "Orgullo Andino". The composer of this song is José "Catire" Carpio, although this song was well known for the interpretation of the singer Raquel Castaño. This rhythm is known as "Bambuco Andino", for me it is a great pleasure to share these musical pieces with you, I hope you like it.And as always, I offer you these musical samples in all humility, as is this week's theme "tevazu".
LETRA
LYRICS
I have my little conuito up there in the sierra nevada
I have a little green coffee plantation I have corn and barley
and I have a white cow that I milk in the early morning hours
and I have a big house surrounded by frailejones.
I have a yellow wheat field with its golden ears of corn
that when the sun rises kisses them and they are more golden,
like the braids that adorn the face of my beloved mother,
mountain range and blue sky seem to embrace each other
I am happy in the heights my adored mountain range.
When the mist falls there in my beautiful mountain range
my three-colored ruana if I go out in the morning
along the wet road, embroidered with little flowers
I go out to tell the landscape, you are my blessed land.
When they call my name Los Andes my heart beats
if I am far away, nostalgia even blurs my eyesight
when I remember you my land, mornings and afternoons
no one can take away my pride of being Andean.
