After a great time we had at Vogel, it took us about 15 minutes by bus to come to Lake Bled - also one of the most touristy destinations in Slovenia. We had about hour and a half to spend here. I was amazed by the clearness and transparency of water. It is something to appreciate very much because it's becoming rarer and rarer in today's polluted environment.
People were doing water sports or bathing in the lake.
We rode in the traditional pletna boat across the lake to a small island. One theory says that the Slovenian word "pletna" comes from German "platt" which means "flat", as the boat has a flat bottom.
