I really enjoyed your story, @osomar357. It has some very creepy and frightening elements, but does not cross the line into violence or gore that so many horror stories seem to do. You created suspense and fear, but ended the story very nicely in the "real world" where Daniel is safe among his family and friends.

You know when I do the stories, I always try to leave something, happy and positive in them.
Sometimes it costs me a little, but whenever I get stuck looking for an ending, I tell myself, "The world is very hard for many people, so instead of entrenching that thought with a gloomy or hopeless ending, look for something that gives hope, or a teaching" or something like that, the important thing for me is that people enjoy what I write and that there is always a message at the end.
Although there are times when I don't achieve it.
