It was one of those nights where I had a huge urge to draw, but I didn't want to spend all night or early morning drawing a super detailed illustration. I did what I love to draw so much, an eye.
Hola gente bonita! Espero estén super bien todos y si no lo están, pronto lo estarán! Les comparto un dibujo super sencillo que hice anoche, mientras escuchaba algo de música en mi cuarto. Fueron de esas noches en donde tenia unas enormes ganas de dibujar, pero no quería pasarme toda la noche o madrugada dibujando una ilustración super detallada. Hice lo que me gusta tanto dibujar, un ojo.

I started by making a basic sketch of what my eye would be. The truth is that it wasn't a drawing that took me too much time, since I just wanted to draw something simple and that's it. I have been seeing many of the works of an artist called elizmil.art for quite some time now, she is one of my favorite artists. As I was saying, I've been watching her work, since in most of her social networks, she uploads illustrations in black and white style, they are like very stylized sketches that I really love and to make this eye, I wanted to try to take her as a reference.
Comencé haciendo un boceto básico de lo que seria mi ojo. La verdad no fue un dibujo que me tomo demasiado tiempo, ya que simplemente quería dibujar algo sencillo y ya. He estado viendo muchos de los trabajos de una artista llamada elizmil.art desde hace ya un buen tiempo, es de mis artistas favoritas. Como le decía, he estado viendo sus trabajos, ya que en la gran mayoría de sus redes sociales, sube ilustraciones en estilo blanco y negro, son como bocetos muy estilizados que realmente a mi me encantan y para hacer este ojo, quise intentar tomarla como referencia.
When I had the sketch ready, I started working on the line art, actually I did two line arts, the first one I did using a gray, after I had done it, I lowered the opacity and in another layer, I did a second line art, this time in black and I feel that the contrast of both line arts looks or gives that impeccable and beautiful touch to the illustration.
Cuando tuve el boceto listo, comencé a trabajar el line art, en realidad hice dos line arts, el primero lo hice usando un gris, luego que lo había hecho, le baje la opacidad y en otra capa, hice un segundo linea art, esta vez en negro y siento que el contraste de ambos line arts se ve o le da ese toque impecable y hermoso a la ilustración.
Finally, I made the details of shadows and lights, this to give a little more structure or "color" in a way, to the whole illustration so that it was not just a line art work and that's it.
Por ultimo, hice lo que fueron los detalles de sombras y luces, esto para darle un poco más de estructura o "color" de cierto modo, a toda la ilustración para que así no quedara solamente con un trabajo de line art y ya.
