Hello friends! this weekend was special for my wife and me because we visited the second monument inspired by the "Cristo Redentor Brazil", previously we had visited the one in the city of "Almada" in the center of Portugal, but as we are holidays we take advantage of this Sunday to take a little walk through the things of "Madeira" enjoy my post!🚩🧭🌅🌄

If you intend to visit the third monument inspired by the "Christ of Brazil" then you must travel to the island of Madeira here in Portugal, and then go by car to the region of "Caniço" then we will climb to the highest point called: (Ponta do Garajau) and here we would find the beautiful monument! It is not very far from the center, let's say a maximum of 8 kilometers! so it can be a nice place to consider if you come on vacation! I recommend you book a weekend to take photos here!🗽🌄🚩🚙🌍

To your right you have a beautiful landscape of the Atlantic, then to your left you can photograph the entire city, being able to see even the city of "Funchal" we are more than 500 meters high! if you like adrenaline then you can take a "teleferico" and go down to the beach! you can stay there and sunbathe! or return and enjoy the panoramic views!😎🏊♂️🚣♂️

"Welcome to paradise" is what you can see engraved on the rocks! and is that Portugal has the best beaches in Europe! many come to the island of Madeira to do water sports such as "kayak, diving, surfing" a nice place to enjoy a weekend with your family! Everyone has their activities as a couple! we are not to hang out in discos! We are more adventurous in spirit! we have so many memories together!! I think this "Monument" catches you!!! seduces you!!! you feel that positive energy and create stronger bonds with your wife or husband! It's quite romantic!👨💖💥👩

The monument is not very big so that we have an idea that of Brazil is "28 meters high" this one is only half 14! but they share the same format, a "Christ with open arms" do you know what is interesting about it? It was not built to see us!!! It was built to observe the great Atlantic! It has a religious explanation but I think it's not worth focusing on that topic! what interests us is that it was also built in October 1927😮😮
I still have a somewhat "Mysterious" story for you about this place where this monument was built in the 17th century. I stand out because the corpses of those people who were not "Catholics" were thrown, it is quite strange that at that point there was only one cemetery for the "Protestant" religion apparently either there was discrimination or the cemetery was full! I have no idea but it is still part of the universal culture!🤯🤯

This tourist site, being very close to the ocean, is used as a point to observe dolphins, whales, seabirds and other species! therefore it also has an ecological value on the island! here a spotter brings powerful binoculars then below is a boat looking for whales! when the observer sees it with the binocular, he communicates with the people on the boat using coordinates and locates the animal! It is already a tourist activity that has been on the market for many years!🤩🐳🐬
With this last funny photo I say goodbye! It was a very nice Sunday! I enjoyed and shared a lot with my wife!! Would it be something that I would repeat? Of course yes, there are many things to explore here! I also really liked learning about Portuguese culture!🚙🚩🧑👩💖
