If you come to visit Portugal in your next summer you cannot miss visiting Nazareth, I personally had the wrong idea that coming here was only to know the powerful ocean with its gigantic waves and it is not like that! Within this town that is located an hour and a half from Lisbon there are many interesting things to see such as the churches, some trilhos, delighting ourselves with a very old fort, a gastronomy rich in local fish!🤔😮
Si vienes de visita a Portugal en tu proximo verano no puedes perderte visitar nazaret, yo personalmente tenia la idea errada que venir aqui era solo conocer el poderoso oceano con sus olas gigantezcas y no es asi! dentro de este pueblo que se ubica a una hora y media de Lisboa hay muchas cosas interesantes que ver como las iglesias, algunos trilhos, deleitarnos con un fuerte muy antiguos, una gastronomia rica en peces locales!🌄🌅🌊
I came accompanied with my wife and my great friend Jose and traveling companion! It was the eve of his birthday and he always told me that his dream was to know Nazare because of its big waves and we decided to surprise him with this trip, my friend the best experience is always to enjoy with the family, personally when I want to be alone and think about personal things I prefer climb mountains! Visiting Nazare is cheap and easy to access, you can take a bus or come in your car!😮😜

If you use the search engine in google and place giant waves, the first reference that will come out is the famous north beach, it is the most visited of Nazareth for its gigantic waves, on average the waves are between 2-3 meters high, although it does not seem like great thing here on this beach due to its geographical conditions sometimes waves of up to 30 meters are produced! making it the site that any experienced surfer dreams of!😁😁
Si utilizas el buscador en google y colocas olas gigantes la primera referencia que te saldra es la famosa playa del norte, es la mas visita de nazaret por sus gigantescas olas, en promedio las olas tienen entre 2-3 metros de altura, aunque no parezca gran cosa aqui en esta playa por sus condiciones geograficas se producen algunas veces olas de hasta 30 metros! por lo que es el sitio que sueña cualquier surfista experimentado!😄😅🏄♂️🏄♀️
Sometimes we go walking along the beach or the city and we see some women with the traditional clothes that were used at the time to go out to sell the fish that their husbands brought from the high seas, in fact you can get some tourist activities to take a tour and learn all about the culture of Nazare! Debes pensar me gusta el surf pero no soy capas de sufear olas tan grandes, no te preocupes las playas de nazare tiene olas para todos los gustos, por eso no solo es visitado por los atletas de altos rendimientos, bueno era hora de llevar mi carro al pueblo para conocer un poco los sitios turisticos probar la gastronomia y cerrar mi viaje con el museo de surf y aprender un poco sobre la ciencia de porque se forman olas gigantescas!🚙🚘🚩

You get to the town from the north beach it takes you about 10 minutes or less, it is an easy path and you have no way to get lost, parking is easy there is a lot that allows us to park for free, then here we have all the tourist sites to visit including the viewpoint, the church, and the fort! almost all are free except for the fort you pay 2 euros per ticket! I recommend you walk with some coins!🤑🤑
Llegas al pueblo desde la playa del norte te toma unos 10minutos o menos, es una trayectoria facil y no tienes como perderte, estacionar es facil hay un terreno que nos permite estacionar gratis, luego aqui tenemos todos los sitios turisticos para visitar incluyendo el mirador, la iglesia, y el fuerte! casi todos son gratis a exepcion del fuerte que pagas 2euros por ticket! te recomiendo andar con algunas monedas!🎆🎈
The first thing we can do is take a short walk through the town here we can find some areas that are very high and that give us a beautiful view of the ocean, the port of the city and obviously the coastal city of Nazare! It is a good opportunity to take some photos and if you are risky and you like adrenaline, you do like me and climb these rocks!🤔😮
Lo primero que podemos hacer es dar una pequeña caminata por el pueblo aqui podemos encontranos algunas zonas que son muy altas y que nos dan una vista hermosa al oceano, al puerto de la ciudad y obviamente la ciudad costera de nazare! es una buena oportunidad para tomar unas fotos y si eres arriesgado y te gusta la adrenalina haces como yo y subes en estos peñascos!🌄🌄

DEER MONUMENT👨🏫🏡/MONUMENTO DEL VENADO🌊⛱☔
This iconic piece made in 2016 is a work of art by the artist Agostinho Piros tells the famous legend of how the Virgin of Nazare saved a 12th century character from her horse who was hunting a deer and almost fell down the cliff of La beach, from there there is a legend that an apparition of a Catholic virgin occurred and a chapel was made in her honor! the structure of the deer is almost 7 meters high!👨💻👨🏫
Esta pieza iconica realizada en el año 2016 es una obra de arte del artista Agostinho Piros relata la famosa leyenda de como la virgen de nazare salvo de su caballo a un personaje del siglo XII que estaba cazando un venado y casi caia por el risco de la playa, desde ahi existe la leyenda que ocurrio una aparicion de una virgen catolica y se realizo una capilla en su homenaje! la estructura del venado tiene casi 7 metros de altura!🤴👸

This was one of my favorite places because I learned a lot about the history of surfing, they also explain to us here how and why the giant waves of Nazare are formed, what happens is that there is something called an underwater canyon, it has an average depth of 5km and an extension of 230km this is what causes giant waves to form due to the geography of the site!🤩🤩

Well we must mention the king of world surfing and an iconic legend of this extreme sport, Mr. (Garrett McNamara) he has been the only surfer so far to tame waves between 25 to 30 meters high, for this feat he has some Guinness records, and all its merits were thanks to the north beach that has the propitious conditions to break these colossal records!🤩👨💻

The museum is crazy there are so many iconic surfers we can meet surfers from all countries of the world, and each one has a personal surfboard with a writing, many thanking Nazare for the experience of being able to surf the biggest waves! then we have another crazy surfer who became famous for playing the violin while surfing the wave xD🤔😮
Es una locura el museo hay tantos personas iconicos del surf podemos encontrarnos surfistas de todos los paises del mundo, y cada uno tiene una tabla de surf personal con un escrito, muchos agradeciendo a nazare por la experiencia de poder surfear las olas mas grandes! luego tenemos otro surfista loco que se hizo famoso por tocar el violin mientras surfeaba la ola xD🤩😄
Once we visited the surf museum, we decided to go back to town to try its gastronomy, there were several options but we decided on a restaurant called the viewpoint because it had a spectacular ocean landscape and the food was not expensive!😋😋
Una ves que ya visitamos el museo de surf decidimos volver al pueblo a probar su gastronomia, habian varias opciones pero decidimos por un restaurante llamado el mirador porque tenia un espectacular paisaje al oceano y la comida no era costosa!😂😎

I personally love the attention, the prices and the quality of the food for the 3 of us including dessert. We spent about 45 euros, it seemed very cheap to be a very touristy area! We ordered sea food, salmon, and fish casserole!🤯😜

This is another very interesting site to see in the town of Nazare, it is The Sanctuary of Our Lady of Nazaré, this church is very old, it was built in 711, it is considered a national heritage, and as I mentioned earlier it was dedicated to the Virgin of Nazare According to legend, except for an important person from the time of falling off the cliff of the beach, the church has its origin in Roman times!🧭🌏
Este es otro sitio muy interesante para ver en el pueblo de nazare se trata El Santuario de Nuestra Señora de Nazaré, esta iglesia es muy antigua fue construida en el 711 es considerada patrimonio nacional, y como lo mencione anteriormente fue dedicada a la virgen de nazare que segun cuenta la leyenda salvo a un persona importante de la epoca de caer por el acantilado de la playa, la iglesia tiene origen en la epoca romana!👳♂️👳♀️👸🤴
