Hello science lovers! Today I bring you a very interesting post because we are going to study the morphology and physiology of two types of plants that are common in Europe, one is from dry environments and quite resistant, the other has a very delicious fruit and is used to create a (Portuguese brandy) , take some macrophotographs and microscope observations to identify the parts of the flower, fruit and leaf! I managed to photograph the chlorophyll and a tissue in the seed so you will see very deep things!🧠👨🏫🌲
Hola amantes de la ciencia! hoy les traigo un post muy interesante porque vamos a estudiar la morfologia y fisiologia de dos tipos de plantas que son comunes en europa una es de ambientes secos y bastante resistente la otra tiene un fruto muy delicioso y se utiliza para crear un (aguardiente portugues), realice algunas macrofotografias y observaciones al microscopio para identificar las partes de la flor, fruto y hoja! logre fotografiar la clorofila y un tejido en la semilla asi que veras cosas muy profundas!🍒🍁🌷

A very strange-looking plant that belongs to the "Asteraceae family" the plants grouped in this family are characterized by presenting their flowers in "inflorescence type (false flower)" and being angiosperms they are the "family with the greatest diversity of species", They were originally native to the "Mediterranean" but were introduced to several countries. In Portugal it is very common and can be seen in "dry areas, very close to roads"(1)🧠🌏
Una planta de aspecto muy extraño que pertenece a la "familia Asteraceae" las plantas agrupadas en esta familia se caracterizan por presentar sus flores en "tipo inflorescencia (falsa flor)" y al ser angiospermas son la "familia con mas diversidad de especies", originalmente fueron nativas del "mediterraneo" pero fueron introducidas en varios paises. Hay un termino botanico poco conocido que es: "(cardos)", se les agrupa a las plantas de este tipo porque tienen en sus hojas espinas, el tallo es "recto", como puedes observar no son de gran tamaño parecen mas un "arbusto", en la foto puedes observar las hojas que recubren la "falsa flor" llamada (capitulos terminales), como puedes ver crecen en forman de capsulas y parece algun "tricoma" o tejido que produce la epidermis para evitar ser "comida por herbiboros".(1,2)📚🤔🤯
My specialty is zoology so I can make mistakes in some identification of tissues and more of these plants that are very few studied, but I do not see chloroplasts since there is no color in this tissue, which is obviously the epidermis but in some plants a layer above the epidermis called (peridermis) but found on stems and roots! from what I will deduce that it is a protective secretory tissue that ends up being more of an accessory because it does not participate in the reproduction of the plant! Mi especialidad es la zoologia asi que puedo errar en alguna identificacion de tejidos y mas de estas plantas que son muy pocos estudiadas, pero no veo cloroplastos ya que no hay un color en este tejido, que obviamente es la epidermis pero en algunas plantas crece una capa encima de la epidermis llamada (peridermis) pero se encuentran en tallos y raiz! por lo que deducire en que es un tejido secretor protector que acaba por ser mas un accesorio porque no participa en la reproduccion de la planta! In this plant there is no "true" flower, instead "composite inflorescence" is used, an inflorescence is a way in which the flower is arranged on the plant! They are considered false flowers because we see something big and yellow, but the real flowers are tiny, like "the sunflower"(4)🌷🍁

The fruit can measure up to "40mm" it has five "locules" or place where the seed grows, which in total can be five!(7)😮🤯

If we look at the outer tissue of the seed we see some small scratches, clearly the seed has acquired its mature form and is ready to be dispersed! for this to happen it must be ingested by a dispersing animal and the gastric juice will corrode the external tissue but not enough to destroy it! subsequently the micropyle is exposed, which is a hole where the plant comes out!📚🤯🕵️♂️
