CASCAIS👨🏫🌊/CASCAIS🧭🌍
Cascais is a very beautiful city that is in the Lisbon district, it is known because the fishery is one of its main sources of income in this district, previously when the ships that went to Lisbon had to pass through Cascais for which it became very famous and crowded quickly as the exploration caravels set out to discover new lands! But it was not only about seeing the great ships in search of new lands, Cascais was also a land of prestige because the kings and the nobility had rest houses here by the sea!😱🤴👸
Cascais is not a very big city and it does not have many tourist sites to visit, but what little it has, believe me, has too much beauty and quality, the main tourist attractions of the fishing city are the famous "mouth of hell" that is on the coast of La city, is molded by the erosion that the waves produce when they hit the rock to confer a very beautiful shape and hence its name! then we can take a walk through the city that has many buildings, a couple of forts, good hotels and a restaurant! what caught my attention is that everything is very old and sophisticated!😍😍
Cascais has many luxurious mansions and houses, some were converted into luxurious restaurants and others into hotels! But those that still belong to wealthy families are an image and reflection of how the nobility lived in the time of the kings here in Portugal, we can find in the historic center a statue of the famous King Carlos I, he was one of the last kings of Portugal and he was clearly visiting the cascais area with his family! access here is very easy we can come in your own car, comboio (train)! it is easy to park just remember to always bring coins!⛵🚤
CENTER OF CASCAIS👨🏫🌊/CENTRO DE CASCAIS🧭🌍
Previously the economy of the city was driven by fishing but in recent years the municipal chamber has invested a lot of money in tourism to increase tourist interest in the area and as a result now we see many shops, hotels, restaurants, museums and little by little Cascais It is the tourist destination of many tourists, the beaches are very good and they have a somewhat good tide for surfing, which calls many people who are interested in this water sport! It seemed very cheap to me, the restaurant menus are around 9-20 euros!🥰🤯🤭
In history we have that Luis I was a Portuguese character who promoted the economy of Cascais, since in the late 18th century he converted the coastal fort that had the function of protecting Portuguese things from invasions into a tourist destination for his family. Cascais was the fashion of the city of Lisbon in the beginning of the 19th century everyone wanted to come to the beaches to sunbathe and shower!🤑🥴🤴👸
When we walk through the streets we feel a cultural inspiration because everything is beautifully built, we see on many sides images of important characters of Portugal, beautiful houses, contemporary art museums, everything is colorful and fun making the landscape of the old and modern city at the same weather! I read that if you come for a walk you have to try some seafood dish because they are fresh and cheap!😏😏

BOCA DO INFERNO👨🏫🌊/BOCA DEL INFIERNO🧭🌍
In no way was I going to visit Cascais and I was not going to go through "boca do inferno", it is the place most visited by tourists for its beautiful landscape, basically it is a series of natural cliffs formed by the force of the tide, the name is due Because it was formed like an arch through which the water passes with great force, it is located west of Cascais and it is the Atlantic ocean that gives life to this beautiful landscape!😏🌊🌊
Scientifically it is said that the arch of the mouth of hell was a sea cave that with the passage of time and the pressure exerted by the waves caused them to collapse and form an arch, when the water enters through this arch it compresses and takes more forces beat on the rocks creating a large splash similar to the eruption of a volcano, in winter we can see a little of this natural phenomenon!😮😮
When I read about the tourist sites in Cascais they recommended a restaurant that is at the entrance of the mouth of hell that is like a viewpoint where we can eat a delicious plate of marine delicacies while we see how the great Atlantic waves are formed and that they beat with force. in the natural arc!💥💥💦💦
