Because as you know, there's a part of trafficking is also for dog fights and animal fights. And there's even like some dogs that are being rescued, like in Gaza, Ukraine. They take those people with them.
They're big guys. They can defend. I've had the pleasure of working with a few of them as well near the Mexican border.
Great guys. But I also understand that there's a lot of volunteers that work around dogs. And I'm going to ask you a question.
Would you let your mom be around like a convicted, like a former felon that just got out of prison because he's working at the same dog rescue as you? You probably wouldn't really like that, right? But for the dog rescue that I work for, it's been pretty successful. It's been very difficult in California to get funding for it. We're pretty much funded by like synagogues and churches and very generous donors.
That's how we're able to pay them. That's how they're able to get an income, basically. But we need more of that, especially since I cannot believe that California is like as in abolished kill shelters.
There's so many dogs that are getting killed. I think that they would actually have the skills to volunteer and work at those shelters. And Gavin Newsom is not making it easy for anybody to get that done.
