Hello wonderful steemit community!! It's so great to sit here and finally be writing these words to you... it has been a long time coming..
It must be a paradox of life, the more that seems to be happening, the less time there is to sit back and appreciate it. And when you have all the time in the world, there's nothing to write about..
So as you can imagine by my absence on steemit, a lot has been going on...
Most recently, on September 22 we moved to our new house in Portugal. Those who have been following me will know that we recently bought 7 acres of Pine forest in central Portugal, just outside the small town of Penamacor. We have been planning this move for over 3 years now. Ever since we first met @eco-alex and @ecoknowme in India, which started us on our path towards a more natural, ecological way of living.
And here we are, almost 4 years later, and the dream is slowly becoming a reality.. It is funny how the universe conspires to bring things to fruition..
I was driven to write this post thanks to a momentous collaboration that is taking place as I write these words, between my wife Lila and I, and @eco-alex and the amazing team of people who are gathering together to make this dream come true. This collaboration is what started my journey (though short so far) on steemit, and what seemed like a fantastical idea, has grown into a communal shared dream.

We are on the brink of a very special time in a lot of different dimensions, socially, economically, ecologically, spiritually, and many more. It doesn't matter whether this is special to our generation, or part of a cycle much broader than our perspective. The fact remains this is our reality. This is our life. and we must choose who and how we want to be.
Our dream, this projects backbone, is to live harmoniously and respectfully with our surroundings, be it people, animals, plants, fungi, rocks, and even the earth we walk on.
As part of our vision and mission for the future, we want to document our journey, both as a family, and as a community living an alternative lifestyle. Now is the time to say that I am no filmmaker. (aspiring, maybe..) I am not a writer, nor editor, nor colourist, yet recently I have found myself dabbling in all these different fields, in order to make our visual story as entertaining as can be.
