Today #TBT Thursday I want to tell you the story of a young model who went to her first casting a few years ago. This girl came to the casting full of expectations and mixed emotions: nervousness, fear of doing it wrong and the difficulty of any beginner to make the right poses.
I want to tell you this story because we photographers usually publish those pictures that we like the most and that make us feel proud, but we rarely tell how it is for a girl to start in the world of modeling and how difficult it can be for them to take those first steps in this very competitive artistic medium.
This beautiful girl began her adventure in the world of modeling with the dream of living new experiences and getting as far as possible in local beauty pageants. But when the day of the casting came, her heart was beating a mile a minute. Despite her fears and insecurities, however, she decided to go ahead convinced that it would all be worth it.
When she arrived at the studio, she found other girls in the same situation as her: nervous and anxious to do well. But as the casting progressed, she realized that her fears were unfounded. As the session progressed, he would pause to guide her and help her do her best work.
At first, she struggled to do the right poses as you can see in these unpublished photos that I show you today. Little by little, she started to feel more comfortable and self-confident. Thanks to all the advice I was giving her to improve her poses. With each shot, she was gaining confidence in herself and in her ability to be a model.
Finally, the casting was over and she had to wait a few days to find out if she had been selected. But regardless of the outcome, she felt proud of herself for overcoming her fears and applying for the casting.
Over time, this young model managed to have a successful career in the world of modeling, even participating in the state beauty pageant in which she was one of the finalists. But, most importantly, she learned that success is not just about being perfect, but about having confidence in herself and working hard to achieve her goals.
So, girls, if you dream of being a model, don't give in to your fears and insecurities. Trust yourself, work hard and never stop chasing your dreams - success is just a step away!
