Trying out Mixnauten (My Actifit Report Card: January 28 2020)
I received an acceptance message from Mixnauten music distribution platform (they are based in Italy). They have excellent reviews on Facebook , no complaints from cutomers which is very rare in this industry. I like their business model. They don't have a fee structure like Distrokid but instead they take up to 20% comission.
Their customer service is very quick and from our correspondence I know they take 30% comission if your earnings are from 0 to 2999 EUR. From 3000 EUR they take 20% comission. I can live with that. That's a good number to aim for.
If I grow - they grow. What's good for me - it's good for the company and vice versa. It's the opposite for Distrokid. They don't care about their artists growth. All they care about is getting new customers.
My rejection from Distrokid coincided with the boost in stats (and earnings probably) I've been seeing in December week after week. Maybe they don't want their artists to be successful. It seems that Mixnauten is invested in their artists success.
I uploaded 3 tracks. A bit clunky UI. Nothing big. Got stuck but support helped me out.
