In the morning today I did the last preparations for tonight's organ recital of my colleague at my church. I printed out the programe and took to the church.
Then I went to the cathedral and heard a fine violist playing. I life-streamed a little bit of his playing to Facebook and later had my harmony class - at first with a couple of second year students and later with first year students. We worked on adding the bass line to the soprano part while thinking about sweet sounding intervals moving in contrary motion.
Then I met my friend Paulius for coffee and gave him a CD of my friend James Flores, 
Then it was time to go back to my church again for the recital. I sat behind the altar the entire time and it was great. I even got to draw some Pinky and Spiky comics.
Finished the day by watching a movie on TV about Lithuanian family deported to Siberia in 1941 and read David Sedaris' diary.
