When @laputis and I went to the Baroque opera "Pimpinone" at the Palace of Grand Dukes, we were greeted by the director who acted like hotel servant. He wanted us to draw a ticket and participate in the lottery who will win 3 open positions - theorbo player, kitchen worker and a maid. The opera started when he invited 3 people from the audience to take those positions. Theorbo player was a real theorbo player and the maid was German soprano soloist who sang a lead character's role. I was glad he didn't invite me.
