I was told people complain more on Mondays so I decided to join the list of complaints and share mine, maybe it's not a complain or is it? 🤔
I don't even know but I feel like sharing cause I'm exhausted and tired, I don't think I've had to go through this sort of stress before.
About a month ago, I applied for a scholarship to study software engineering (involuntarily 😅) as a new skill as Asuu (Academic Staff Union of Universities) has refused to call of the strike so students can return to school, I passed the two stages of tests and was granted the scholarship, I was happy to have gotten in, I love learning and this is a perfect opportunity to learn so I decided to utilize this opportunity to the maximum but right now, I'm low-key wishing I didn't start this journey, cause how do professionals cope?
Sometimes I feel like my head is hot and my brain is sparking and there's smoke coming out of my head (okay, I'm kidding about this part but) I've studied and studied to a point where I cried.
Sometimes I think "It's just a few weeks out of one year course and I'm feeling this way? What'll happen when I'm five months into it?"
Kudos to professional software engineers, they're trying a lot. I barely have time for myself, or appetite for food, I sleep very late, dream about my unfinished projects chasing me, wake up and fight with learning, projects, network connection and my (borrowed) system 🤦. Honestly, I feel like giving it all up but would I have another opportunity after this?
Would I just let everything I've done so far go in vain? I'm learning to be determined and I feel giving up would mean I've learnt nothing about determination but I'm exhausted too.
I kinda feel light after typing this 😅 but in a few minutes I'll run back to complete my project before the deadline which is in a few hours 🤕.
