Charlie Harper is a wealthy and carefree bachelor living in a luxurious Malibu beach house but his life suddenly turns upside down when his younger brother Alan (an uptight control freak) and his son Jake (a lazy and food obsessed boy) moves in with him "temporarily" after Alan's divorce.
IMDb
This sitcom revolves around the lives of these three (but most especially Charlie) their lifestyle, daily life and Charlie's unnecessary mid-day margaritas.
I started watching this sitcom after seeing a few episodes at a friend's house, I came home and realized it's shown on 'comedy central ©' so I began following every episode, I even binge watched multiple series most times to cover up with parts I hadn't seen. I loved the fact that every single episode brought intense laughter, Charlie always had a silly answer to every question or statement and he never fails to remind Alan of his misery while their mum doesn't fail to remind both of them of how disappointed she is in them, while Charlie and Alan are two opposite characters they have a common enemy and that's their mother, a cold and domineering woman whom they sometimes refer to as 'devil' .
I can't pinpoint a particular scene that's the most interesting but whenever I randomly remember the movie, it's the parts where Charlie, with a mug filled with margarita at hand pesters Alan trying to make him move out or the part where Charlie and Alan were dancing on the balcony with Berta and Jake at the window 😅.
The character that stole my heart most was Charlie, I just can't stop talking about him, he was the backbone of two and a half men, I loved how he played his role and I got to know that he played himself, his name is Charlie, he played Charlie and portrayed the exact way his life was. When I got to the part where the series was acted without him, I lost interest, without him the movie didn't feel the same, it wasn't as funny as it used to be and the remaining seasons they acted without him didn't do as well as the ones he acted.
Because I love the theme song 😁
This is my entry to the cine tv movie contest, "favourite television comedy"
