Powering up is one thing that I don't often do, not because I feel reluctant to do, or don't want to grow my Steem business in that angle, but sometimes when life becomes tougher for you to relief yourself, when you're entangled with so many obligations that lead to to spending, every little income you take delight of spending it. If you don't take care, you'll spend your seed capital and finally collapse your business. And that was the trouble I was facing at my end here.
I wouldn't say that 2019 was a bad year for me, becaused I powered down too much, but had it not being that little help from Steem, I don't know what would've happened to me. Because, you bad situation as you think may lead to something good. The Steem price was by then low but due to my situation, I had no option to stop powering down. This led me drained a lot of power which could have helped me buid my Steem business. When I calculate, I've powered down more than 1k from my Steem power. I feel like losing my prescious gold. Through this I've learnt a lesson that no matter the hardship we should grind and rock harder and hard to make life meaningful by maintaining our dignity and integrity in our business.
I see my reputation of #68 to match with my Steem power, say about *2k or 3k plus. But this something below what I'm expecting since I was gripped with too much powering down. Now, my reputation is not even up to 1k and I see this as a shameful situation to me, since others with reputation of #68 have more that 10k. One would say that they have means of powering up, but I must say that it's not always true, but they strive hard, they do a lot of things, they rock & grind hard before getting that huge power. Not because they peopple were Ok & comfortable with living, but they mean to invest at all cost whether hook or clook means.
This is the more reason why I need to strengthen myself and power up little by little and stop powering down which is draining all my Steem power. Because the amount of Steem power I've wasted is not the true reflection of income I suppose to get since Steem price is low. For the start, I've powered up #32 Steem, and I'm going to do this to fix back all the Steem power I've lost. In my last post I wrote that this 2020 is a year of review of 2017 when we had the best time for Steem to reach the top. To climb this success well, I need to intensify my promotion strategies to also enjoy better. I hope
