What are the important points we have learned from God's words discussed in the Zoom meeting?
If we think of the past, the thought of the graven images might come to our mind. We are been cautioned in the Bible that we are not to think that the Godhead is like a graven image because God knows the devil will want to tempt us to think of negative things. We should always think of Christ. You should know that God has already prepared a thing to stop us from been deviated.
For us to be directed to the right past, we should always think of Christ. Christ is the end of the righteousness of the law. If we love the law, we will love the law of Christ. If we meditate on the law of Christ, we will be able to do the law. The true meaning of the love of God is doing the laws of Christ. The word of God disciplines us on the right way to mind so that the devil will not feed of minds with corrupt things.
For us to be able to imitate Christ, He should be in our hearts. If Christ is in our minds, we will be able to do the good things Christ did. When Christ is of mind and we are obedient to him, then we are imitating him. We are also the friend of Christ if we obey His commandment. We should meditate on the law of Christ so that we will have the mind of Christ. Apostle was able to preach Christ because Christ was in his heart. For to show forth the excellency of the Father, we will obey the law and when will obey the law, we are proclaiming the end of the law.
What are our old beliefs or expectations that were improved by listening in the Zoom meeting?
I got to learn that if we meditate on the law of Christ, we will be able to do the law. I got to learn that we are also the friend of Christ if we obey His commandment. I got to learn that the word of God disciplines us on the right way to mind so that the devil will not feed of minds with corrupt things.
How does the study affect us that can make us a better person than we can use in our daily lives?
Teaching helps me to know the importance of feeding our mind we the work of God so that our mind will not be feeding with the thought of the devil. The teaching helps me to know the right way to show forth the excellency of God by obeying His commandments.
