Hello Steemit community members. I will be honest, it has been quite awhile since I have made a posting on Steem.
I have been very busy with work and a Food and Fund drive that I would like to share with the steemit community.
I would also like to use this posting to also reintroduce myself to the steemit community. I had never posted a picture or anything. I will use the video link below for people to meet me and see who I am :)
Below is a copy of my original email that I sent out to friends, family and some work contacts. My goal is to reach out to as many people as I can. With that said I would like to involve the Stemmit community!

Hello all,
As you may already know, my job has taken me all over the Region of Waterloo.I have seen first hand that there is a real need in our community to support our neighbours who do not have the means to provide themselves and their families with basic needs, such as food for healthy meals. I strongly believe that providing people with food in their bellies will improve their life and the life of their children.
It can be difficult for one person to make a difference but coming together as a community will greatly increase our chances of achieving positive change. Therefore I am asking for your help.
For roughly the next 4 weeks I will be hosting a food & fund drive in support of both the KW Food Bank and the Palmerston Food Bank. I will be collecting non-perishable items and/or monetary donations through the Team Raiser platform. I am happy to pick up these items directly from you, or they can also be dropped off at my home. If you would like to get involved in more ways please email me directly for more opportunities (E.g. being an ambassador for your workplace,sports team, circle of friends,etc.).
