DRESS CODE
There is a common saying,
The way you Dress determines the way you will be Addressed.
Which leads me to ask,
Does the type of clothing we wear matter, as long as they protect and cover us?
Giving a long thought to the question might result in mixed concepts.
The Idea of wearing whatever one deems fit is a Right, but is it right?
Some may argue the perspective, Dress to fit the occasion.
In an instance, I don't think it's right for a Banker to wear snapbacks, gold chains or saggy pants into the banking hall, that alone might paint the picture of irresponsiblity on the minds of customers who bank with the Corporation for the sake of their supposed Responsibility.
Hence, the adage above does have some truth in it.
This discussion was inspired by a friend of mine, who greeted and shook hands with an insane man earlier today, (a literally Mad Man).
Due to the sort of upbringing he had, he was taught to respect and always greet his elders (Yoruba Tribe of Nigeria).
Well.. Earlier in the day, he met a well suited man with a messy bag, according to him the well Dry Cleaned Suit distracted him from the other signs of madness his companion had, lol.
And then.... yes, He offered a handshake, which was graciously returned by a hand which smelled more than shit itself.
My point,
Even the insane has the ability to decieve with well dressed clothing, how much more a sane looking insane by because of the choice of clothing.
Dress to fit the occasion.
In the name of corporate, it would be absurd to wear a suit to the football pitch or a Night Club.
One should always try to look as enticing as the event demands.
Looking Good is always a plus.
