So..... I finally bought something at Trader Joe's and the transaction didn't show up on the app, so I sent an email (which they never replied to) to customer support and within a day or two the transaction was listed on the app, although it's still in a pending stage a day or two after being listed.

I'll reply back if things change for the better, but as of now I have little confidence in it....
