Interesting article about the levee system in the US and how people are living with water. I believe that levees have their place, no doubt, but I also believe in allowing water to move as natural as possible. Paving the planet and funneling water into small areas are leading to move flooding, not less. In South Louisiana we have too much water in one river and not enough in others. It's not the way nature had it. I think humans can do a better job.
