Interesting article about why we need to protect our wetlands, especially in South Louisiana. I've always been more interested in the beauty of nature and of the wetlands, but there is also the economic impact that the wetlands can have on the surrounding cities. What are the cost to the people and their property if we let the wetlands disappear? I know it's not free to save the coast, but if we don't we're also shooting ourselves in the foot in other ways......
