Interesting article about the closing of the MR-GO in South Louisiana and how it has benefitted the environment of the area. Too bad it took Katrina to make the closure happen, but it's been great for the wetlands. Hopefully more and more restoration projects that are already planned will get funded, it's really a beautiful area, especially where the wetlands are thriving. A little bit of good news.
