Hello Steemians! It's been cccold for the past few days across the US. Even in Florida.
So instead of trying to adjust and becoming a walking onion (with layers and layers of clothing), haha; we decided to head south - at least there we won't worry about water hose freeze and dealing with possible damage. It's been cold here... and even our pups bundled up.
On this picture I am taking a ride to a local store on my scooter all "onioned" in a coat, hoodie, tee... I do wear helmet when I ride. There is no requirement for bikers (and scooterians) to wear helmets in state of Florida, but I try to be safe anyways. Btw, not all states have that leniency - something to be aware if you decide to ride.
This was a few days ago. Yesterday it was raining cold rain all night. Time to go follow the sunshine.
A few days back my friend sent me a picture from her work in Miami. I hope you can spot the difference between my bundled up attire and the weather there - people are swimming! Right!
I am stocked to go places whether it's to an ocean, forest, or mountains. I love it all! It feels nice to get out and steer towards new scenery and new friendships! These are all exciting adventures!
