So I nailed the audition for a New Girl on fox. Got to set and found out my scene partner was Megan Fox. What?! The Megan Fox?! Word!! As I entered my trailer I found a new set of sides (that's what we call a script). 3 new pages I have to learn before they call me to set. So of course I start feeling the pressure. Nervous and unprepared I walked on set. They placed me on my X and did some camera measuring etc... then I feel a tap on the shoulder, as I turn around I see it Megan Fox. She is flawless and sweet but a little guarded.
"Can I call you Meg?" "Sure", she says. Then I ask her if she got the new script. She looked shocked and immediately asked for the new lines. She didn't know about them. She turns back and says, "oh well they do this to me all the time don't sweat it". And with that all the pressure was gone. If she didn't care then I didn't either. Nailed the scene had a blast with her and once she realized I wasn't trying to make her my wife because I have the best women in the Milky Way. She let her guard down and was cool as a polar bears toenails.
Later that night I realized she was guarded because everyone is alway trying to holla at her. She's like give me a break and I did... in closing Megan fox is a smart strong sweetheart who was a pleasure to work with...
P.s. The funny thing is in the scene I turn her down... Greatness is a habit not a destination...
