Intense action and drama show with good non-supernatural story about war, with elements of sci-fi.
Everything is excellent about this show: visuals, animation dynamics, sophistication of the story and its progression, serious mature drama without cheap emotional manipulation, development, characters, music and conclusion.
The show makes direct reference to "All Quiet on the Western Front" by Erich Maria Remarque.
