A new and extensive hacker attack has hit several companies and institutions in Europe. National Security Authority (Norwegian: Nasjonal sikkerhetsmyndighet NSM) confirm to VG that a company in Norway is affected by a hacker attack.

The Russian oil company Rosneft said, according to Reuters, that a big attack hit the servers on Tuesday.

Also, computer systems at some banks and the main airport in Ukraine is exposed to the attack. Some aircrafts may be delayed as the result of the attack.

Ukraine's Security Council claims there is already a hint of Russian interference in the hacker attack.

"Already at the first analysis of the virus, it is possible to talk about Russian fingerprints," said Oleksandr Turchynov of Ukraine's National Security Council.

The Zurich-based food production company Mondelez says, according to the news agency, that employees experience difficulties in several places.

The Danish shipping company Mærsk also reports that they are affected by the attack, according to Jyllandsposten.
